This image is a medium
close-up of my model. I think this image is unprofessional
as it shows my reflection on the left hand side. The backdrop is also not consistent
which adds to the overall unprofessional look. My models facial expression
shows her looking confused which suggests the image was taken off-guard,
therefore this would not be an appropriate image to use for my front cover as
it would not attract my target audiences gaze.
This image of a mid-shot is the image I intend to use
for my front cover. The model is using direct
gaze to address the audience personally. Her clothing is formal showing she
is a sixth form student but in contrast
her body language is casual; this would
have the effect on the audience that she is just like any one of the other
sixth formers therefore making the magazine relatable. I like the angle that
this image has been taken at, as I feel it presents the model well even though
she looks natural.
I feel this image would also not be appropriate to use on my front cover as the model is not presented well. The model looks untidy and uninterested, this does not conform to the stereotype of a model 'sixth form student'. Also, the angle at which it has been taken looks untidy and unprofessional and would also not interest the target demographic for my magazine.
This image is a landscape medium close-up of my model. I will not be using this image as the
models body language makes her look uncomfortable and her smile looks forced,
this may have a negative effect on the audience causing them not to pick up the
magazine. I also like the angle at which this was taken as I feel it is natural
but also professional.
